A fitness club website sells trial sessions and memberships. It needs a group class schedule, trainer profiles, membership prices, online payment and two-tap booking. We build it in up to 10 working days after the brief and materials.
In short
- The main goal is trial session bookings and online membership sales.
- A schedule filtered by class type, trainer and time is the most visited page of any club.
- Most members live or work nearby, so Google Business Profile and neighbourhood SEO bring the main flow.
- Demand peaks in January and September; promotions are prepared in advance.
- Timing: up to 10 working days; a members app (MVP) takes up to 15.
What should a fitness club website include?
- Schedule. Group classes by day, filtered by type (yoga, Pilates, functional training, boxing), trainer and studio, with a booking button on each class.
- Trainers. Photo, specialisation, education and certificates, class types. Personal training gets its own page with booking.
- Memberships. Types (morning, unlimited, 8 sessions), what is included, freezing. Online purchase via LiqPay, WayForPay or Monobank, with recurring payments for monthly plans.
- Trial session. A short form: name, phone, preferred time. The most important lead on the site.
- The club. Photos of studios, changing rooms, equipment and pool. Opening hours, parking, directions.
- Kids' classes, if offered: ages, groups, schedule.
How does the website connect to the front desk?
Trial requests and membership purchases go to a CRM (KeyCRM, HubSpot or Pipedrive). Staff see the source: Google, Instagram or ads. If the club already has an attendance system, the site passes bookings to it via API, and we estimate that integration after the brief. Class and membership-expiry reminders go out via a Telegram bot or SMS.
Does a fitness club need a mobile app?
A single-location club usually does well with a mobile-friendly website. For a chain, an app helps retain members: class booking, a QR code for entry and push notifications. We build a first working version in Flutter or React Native in up to 15 working days after the brief, with a Firebase or Laravel backend.
How does a fitness club find members online?
- Google Business Profile. Studio photos, hours, reviews, Q&A. For "gym near me" or "fitness club Pozniaky", Google shows the map above websites.
- Local SEO. Pages by class type and district: "Pilates in Obolon", "kids' boxing Troieshchyna". Schema.org ExerciseGym markup with address and hours. First visible results in about 3 months.
- Meta Ads. Trial session ads within a 2–3 km radius of the club, with workout videos. Launch within a few working days after access.
- Google Ads. Search campaigns for intent queries: "gym membership", "personal trainer".
When should you run promotions?
Demand rises in January and September and, to a lesser degree, before summer. Promotion landing pages and ads are prepared 2–3 weeks before the peak so campaigns have time to learn. In summer, short memberships and open sessions work well.
How long does development take?
From our experience, a fitness club website with a schedule, trainers and memberships takes up to 10 working days after the brief is agreed and we receive photos, the schedule and prices. A landing page for a promotion or opening takes up to 3 working days. Online membership payments and attendance system integration are estimated after the brief. Platforms: WordPress for a club that updates its own schedule, Next.js for a chain. GA4 and Google Tag Manager count leads, purchases and calls.

FAQ
How much does a fitness club website cost?
It depends on scheduling and booking, online membership payments, CRM or attendance system integration and the number of locations. We quote after the brief.
Can memberships be sold on the website?
Yes. We connect LiqPay, WayForPay or Monobank, with recurring payments for monthly plans. Fiscal receipts go through Checkbox.
Who will update the schedule?
The club administrator, in the admin panel. If the schedule already lives in an attendance system, the site can pull it automatically.
Should we build an app instead of a website?
An app complements the website. New members find the club through Google and the site; the app serves those who already train with you.
How long does a gym website take?
From our experience, up to 10 working days after the brief is agreed and materials arrive. A promotion landing page takes up to 3 working days.
