Google Ads remarketing shows your ads again to people who visited your website, viewed products or watched your videos, across Google search, the Display Network and YouTube; we set up the audiences, the feed for dynamic ads and conversion tracking.

In short
- Remarketing reaches people who already know you, so it usually costs less per order than cold traffic.
- Audiences are built in GA4 and Google Ads: all visitors, product viewers, cart abandoners, past buyers.
- Dynamic remarketing shows the exact products a person viewed, using a Merchant Center feed.
- Frequency caps and exclusions keep ads from annoying people who have already bought.
- The cost depends on the number of campaigns and whether a feed and tracking need to be built.
What remarketing setup includes
- Strategy. Which audiences to reach, with which offer, for how long, and how remarketing fits with search and display campaigns.
- Tracking. Google tag and Google Tag Manager, GA4 events and conversions, and Consent Mode for visitors from the EU and the UK.
- Audience segmentation. Lists by pages visited, time on site, products viewed, cart and checkout steps, and past buyers from Customer Match.
- Remarketing lists for search ads. Higher bids or different ads for past visitors who search again on Google.
- Dynamic remarketing. A product feed in Google Merchant Center or a business data feed, dynamic tags on the site and dynamic display ads.
- Creatives. Responsive display ads, banners and ad texts for each audience.
- YouTube remarketing. Video ads for site visitors and people who watched your channel.
- Lead forms. Google Ads lead form assets where a quick request suits better than a site visit.
- Management. Bids, frequency caps, membership durations, exclusions and monthly reports.

Dynamic remarketing for online stores
For a store, dynamic remarketing is usually the strongest format. A visitor who looked at a specific model later sees an ad with that model, its price and a link straight to the product page. It needs three things: a product feed in Merchant Center with correct IDs, prices and stock, remarketing tags that pass the same product IDs from the site, and campaigns that use the feed. If you already run Google Shopping, the same feed is used.
How we set up remarketing
- Audit and strategy. We review the account, tracking and site, and agree audiences.
- Tags and consent. Google tag, GTM events and Consent Mode are configured.
- Audiences and feed. We build audience lists and the product feed if needed.
- Creatives and campaigns. We prepare ads for each audience and launch campaigns.
- Optimisation and reports. We adjust bids, caps and offers and report monthly.
How long does it take to launch remarketing?
In our experience, a remarketing campaign usually launches within a few business days of getting access. Audience lists start filling as soon as the tags are live, and Google needs a minimum list size before ads can serve.
The timeline depends on site traffic, the state of tracking and consent settings, and whether a product feed has to be created or fixed. A small site may need several weeks to collect audiences large enough for display and search remarketing.
What affects the cost
The ad budget is paid to Google directly. Our fee depends on:
- the number of audiences and campaigns;
- whether dynamic remarketing and a product feed are needed;
- the state of tracking in GA4 and Google Tag Manager;
- the number of creatives and languages;
- the scope of ongoing management and reporting.
What we need from you
- Access to Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Merchant Center, if you have them.
- Access to the website or a developer to add tags and the consent banner.
- Logos, product images and offers for returning visitors.
- A customer list, if you want to use Customer Match.
What you get and how it is measured
Remarketing is measured in orders and leads:
- conversions and cost per conversion by audience;
- return visits and conversions from remarketing in GA4;
- frequency and reach, so you see how often people meet the ads;
- a monthly report with changes made and the plan for the next month.
Why remarketing is safer with a contracted team
Remarketing done carelessly irritates buyers and wastes budget. What we fix most often:
- no frequency cap, so one person sees the same banner all day;
- buyers kept in lists and shown ads for a product they already bought;
- dynamic ads showing wrong prices because the feed and site IDs do not match;
- tags installed without consent settings for EU and UK visitors.
Working with a Kyiv team remotely
We work remotely with companies in the UK, the EU and North America: video calls, email, Telegram or WhatsApp, and shared documents for plans and reports. Kyiv is on UTC+2 (UTC+3 in summer), so our working day covers most of the UK and EU business day and the morning on the US East Coast. You get one project manager who is responsible for the timeline.

How many visitors do I need for remarketing?
Google sets a minimum audience size for ads to serve, and it differs by network. We check your traffic and tell you which formats will work.
