Domain name and hosting setup is the groundwork for any website: we choose a registrar and a hosting plan for your project, register the domain in your company's name, and configure DNS, SSL certificates and business email.

In short
- The domain is registered in your name, and you keep full access to the registrar account.
- We pick hosting that suits the site: shared hosting for a small site, VPS or cloud for a store or a web app.
- DNS, SSL, business email and backups are configured before the site goes live.
- We can move an existing site and email to new hosting with minimal downtime.
- Registrar and hosting fees are paid to the providers; our work is quoted separately.
What is included
- Domain choice. We check the availability of names in .com, country zones such as .ua, .co.uk or .de, and industry zones, and flag names that are too close to existing brands.
- Registration in your name. The domain is registered to your company or to you personally, with your email as the owner contact.
- Hosting selection. Shared hosting, VPS or cloud, chosen for the CMS, expected traffic, location of your buyers and backup needs.
- DNS setup. A, CNAME, MX, TXT records, SPF, DKIM and DMARC for email, and Cloudflare if the project needs a CDN or extra protection.
- SSL certificates. Free Let's Encrypt or a paid certificate where a business needs one, with automatic renewal and HTTPS redirects.
- Business email. Mailboxes on your domain through Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or the hosting provider's mail.
- Migration. Moving a site, database and mailboxes from old hosting, checking everything works, then switching DNS.
- Renewals and monitoring. We track domain and certificate expiry dates and uptime, and remind you before payments are due.
Why the domain must be in your name
We often meet businesses whose domain was registered to a former developer or employee. When that person leaves, the company loses control over its website address and email. We register domains only to the client and hand over access to the registrar account from day one. If your current domain is registered to someone else, we help you transfer it.
How we set up a domain and hosting
- Requirements. We learn what the site runs on, who the buyers are and what email you need.
- Domain and hosting options. We propose names, a registrar and hosting plans with pros and cons.
- Registration and payment. The domain and hosting are ordered in your name; you pay the providers.
- DNS, SSL and email. We configure records, certificates and mailboxes and test delivery.
- Handover of access. You get all logins and a short document describing the setup.
How long does it take?
In our experience, registering a domain in a popular zone and setting up hosting, SSL and email usually takes one to two working days.
The timeline depends on the domain zone, since some country zones ask for documents or a local presence, on DNS propagation, and on the size of a site or mailbox archive when we migrate from old hosting.
What affects the cost
Registrar and hosting fees are paid directly to the providers at their rates. Our work depends on:
- how many domains and zones you need;
- the hosting type: shared, VPS or cloud, and whether we configure the server;
- the number of mailboxes and whether email is migrated;
- the size of the site and database to move;
- whether you want ongoing monitoring of renewals and uptime.
What we need from you
- Company details for registration, or personal details if the domain will be yours.
- A list of preferred names or the brand you want to use.
- Access to current hosting and the registrar, if we are moving an existing site.
- A payment card or account for the registrar and hosting provider.
What you get
At the end you have a working setup that you own and control:
- a domain registered in your name with access to the registrar account;
- hosting configured for your CMS with HTTPS working on all pages;
- business email with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, so messages reach inboxes;
- a document with all accesses, DNS records and renewal dates.
Why hand this to a team under contract
Domain and hosting mistakes take minutes to prevent and days to fix. What we see most often:
- domains registered to a freelancer or ex-employee, with no way to recover them quickly;
- expired domains or certificates that take the site and email down;
- missing SPF and DKIM records, so invoices and replies land in spam;
- migrations done without backups or with broken redirects, which costs search rankings.
Working with a Kyiv team remotely
We work remotely with companies in the UK, the EU and North America: video calls, email, Telegram or WhatsApp, and shared documents for plans and reports. Kyiv is on UTC+2 (UTC+3 in summer), so our working day covers most of the UK and EU business day and the morning on the US East Coast. You get one project manager who is responsible for the timeline.

FAQ
Can I buy a domain name and hosting together through you?
Yes. We choose the registrar and hosting, place the orders in your name and set everything up. You pay the providers directly, so the accounts stay yours.
Which domain zones can you register?
Generic zones such as .com, .net and .org, Ukrainian zones including .ua and .com.ua, and most country zones in the EU and the UK. Some zones require documents or a local address; we check this before ordering.
What kind of hosting do I need?
A small company site usually runs well on shared hosting. An online store, a web app or a site with steady traffic is better on a VPS or cloud server. We recommend a plan after we see the CMS and expected load.
Can you move my site to new hosting without downtime?
We copy the site and database first, test it on the new server, then switch DNS. Visitors move over as DNS updates, so the site stays available during the move.
Do you set up email on my domain?
Yes, through Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or the hosting provider, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.
Who will own the domain?
You will. We register domains only to the client and hand over registrar access.
