KidSup Early Childhood Development Center Kanata (Canada)
KidSup is an early childhood development center in Kanata, a suburb of Ottawa. We built its website on MODX from scratch: structure, design, front-end coding, copy and on-page SEO, then kept working on search promotion.

Client and task
The center works with children from nursery age to senior kindergarten. When the project started, it had been operating for more than three years and had built a team of teachers. Parents in Canada choose a center through search and maps. The center needed a website that answers those questions.
The task was simple: present programs, teachers and rooms so that a parent wants to book a trial class.
What we did
- Ran a brief and reviewed competitor websites in early childhood education.
- Built page prototypes and created a custom design for a family audience.
- Coded templates in HTML5 and CSS3 with JavaScript interactions and cross-browser testing.
- Chose the domain and hosting, installed MODX and set up easy editing.
- Filled the sections: programs, group and individual sessions, school preparation, music studio, tips for parents, team.
- Did on-page SEO and continued with ongoing search promotion.
Technology
MODX Revolution, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive layout, a class booking form. The site now has three language versions: English, French and Russian.
Result
The case was published in 2024 and the site is live. In the “Results in numbers” block below, the client recorded growth from 0 visits to 658. Center director Anna Sergeyeva left a review of the work, also shown below.
