Cookiddoo. Cooking Classes for Kids in Ottawa
The structure of the work
The Marketing MIX team faced a complex challenge: to create a digital ecosystem that would enable the new brand to confidently enter the Canadian market and consistently attract participants to its workshops.
This required developing a website, preparing a marketing strategy, creating promotional materials, and launching an effective advertising campaign on Meta.
The Marketing MIX team took a comprehensive approach to the project, covering all key stages of the launch.
The first step was to create a modern website, which became the main platform for learning about the project and signing up for workshops.
The specialists designed the page structure, created a user-friendly registration process, optimized the site for mobile devices, and prepared it for future expansion of advertising campaigns.
Before launching the ad campaign, the team analyzed the target audience, studied the specifics of the Canadian market, and developed the project’s positioning.
The main focus was not only on cooking, but also on emotions, a social atmosphere, an introduction to Ukrainian culture, and opportunities to have a good time. This is precisely what allowed the project to stand out from other offerings.
A promotion strategy was also developed, outlining advertising hypotheses, audience segments, and scaling phases.
The client already had photos and video footage from the master classes, but they hadn’t been adapted for advertising.
The Marketing MIX team edited a series of promotional videos optimized for Facebook and Instagram. The videos highlighted the participants’ genuine emotions, the cooking process, and the atmosphere of the events.
This approach allowed us to showcase not just a cooking class, but the full experience that guests receive.
After preparing all the materials, the specialists launched advertising campaigns on Meta.
Initially, they tested different audiences, ad formats, and ad messages. As statistics were collected, the team regularly optimized the campaigns, reallocated budgets, and scaled up the most effective combinations.
Thanks to continuous analysis, the team was able to achieve a steady stream of event registrations.
In a relatively short time, the project has gained recognition among Ottawa residents.
Advertising has begun to consistently attract new participants, and many events have been fully booked well in advance of their dates. Registration for some workshops closes early because they reach capacity.
The project has secured a steady stream of new customers through Meta, and the website has become an effective tool for processing registrations and further developing the brand.
The experts at Marketing MIX didn’t just help launch an ad campaign—they helped bring a new Ukrainian project into the competitive Canadian market and turn it into a recognizable local brand.
Today, the workshops are fully booked, the project continues to grow, and the established marketing system ensures a steady stream of new customers and allows for advance planning of events.
After moving to Canada, a Ukrainian woman decided to turn her passion for cooking into a full-fledged business and began offering her own signature cooking workshops. At the outset, the project was virtually unknown, so the main goal was not simply to launch an advertising campaign, but to help build a recognizable brand and ensure a steady stream of customers.
